Dr. Bob will thoroughly assess your smile to determine the severity of your orthodontic issues and how to best treat them.
Our consultations include a series of x-rays that give Dr. Bob all the information he needs to plan your treatment.
After your exam and x-rays, Dr. Bob will discuss your unique needs and preferences for your Invisalign treatment.
If your child is between the ages of seven and eight and shows signs of needing orthodontic care, you should schedule a consultation. These signs include difficulty chewing and/or biting, mouth breathing, speech impediments, and protruding teeth.
Common orthodontic issues include crowding of the teeth, too much space between the teeth, jaw growth problems, protruding teeth, and bad bites. These issues can be inherited genetically or caused by an injury to the mouth, early or late loss of baby teeth, or thumb-sucking habits.
Typically, traditional metal braces are better for treating more severe orthodontic cases and for childhood orthodontic correction. Invisalign, 3M Clarity, and Six Month Smiles are recommended for adults or those who only have minor orthodontic issues. During your consultation, Dr. Bob will offer honest advice and make recommendations based on your preferences, needs, and budget.
